force that is totally wasted through the running out of steam. Silly,
spontaneous actions. Cancelled journeys and possibly redundancy or sacking.

The present state:(XVI The Tower) The Tower
represents an event or a situation that shakes us up and forces us to take
action or reexamine our beliefs. The circumstances that ignite The Tower may
be unforeseen and beyond our control, but the card also warns us that being
immobile or passive for too long will inevitably force a situation to a
crisis point. In either case, The Tower can be an epiphany, a bolt of
inspiration, or a catalyst for needed change.
Immediate future:(Three of Pentacles) Success
gained through hard work and effort. A gain in commerce and an increase in
material things. This is the card of the businessman, craftsman and
merchant. Skillful work is both awarded and appreciated. A good time to
start a project, with an indication of help in business.
How to obtain more control over the current situation:(XVIII
The Moon reversed) Exaggerated forms of the above. The need for
secrecy. Deception. Illusion. Escape into daydreams to avoid dealing with
reality. Inability to discern reality from illusion. Insincere people.
Hidden forces. Trickery. Sometimes an inability to tell the truth. Despair
and a desperate need for help.
The current environment and/or its affect on the matter:(Page
of Swords) A good personal emissary, although sometimes a card
associated with spying or surveying others from a detached viewpoint. A
person of grace and dexterity, diplomatic and skilled in the ability to work
out the true nature of things. A person who can negotiate expertly on behalf
of his peers. Detachment is one of the true qualities of this figure.
Opposition:(Six of Pentacles) Solvency in
material affairs, clearance of debts and use of good fortune to the benefit
of others. Repayment of favours. Charity, patronage, sympathy and a kind
Result:(Nine of Swords) Deception, premonitions
and bad dreams, suffering and depression, cruelty, disappointment violence,
loss and scandal. All of these may be overcome through faith and calculated
