  As you move into your 2013 professional year you need to take every bit of experience that suggests what this year might hold and what’s possible, based on past experience and put it in the bin, for it will do you no good whatsoever, for there are no precedents for the year that you're moving into. While you last moved into the New Year with Saturn in your work sector in 1985 and with the North Node here in 1993, you have never before moved into the New Year with both Saturn’s determination and the North Node’s sense of direction. At the same time this is the first time in your lifetime that you're moving into the New Year with Neptune in your career sector and while you've spent time in 2012 adjusting to all these conditions, you don’t know what it’s like to start a year with this kind of support and momentum, making it important to begin with a fresh slate, ready to embrace what is destined to be your most important professional year ever. Even though the North Node won’t leave your work sector until February 2014, Saturn until September 2015 and Neptune is in your career sector until 2026, this is the only year where all 3 will remain in position for all 365 days of the year and with lucky Jupiter returning to your income sector in June this takes this to an even higher level. This makes it important to not only move into the New Year with a professional dream, but daring to believe in that dream, trusting that you have the power to move mountains if you have to on the work front if necessary, putting in the hard work to make dreams a reality. While this is a theme that will cover the whole year, there will be times in the year when it’s more important to focus on professional matters as a whole and others where it’s about putting your head down and tail up, getting on with the job of putting in the hard work to make it happen. The overall career focus needs to come early in the year, during that period that begins with Mars’ return to your career sector, on the 2nd February and ends with Venus’ departure on the 22nd March. This is a fairly short and compact period of time where you'll gain the professional momentum you'll retain for the rest of the year.
